  • They have small, compact, cylindrically shaped bodies.

  • Their ears are in petal shaped and eyes located between their ears and nose, at the mid way below their snout.

  • They have small triangular-shaped mouths with 20 teeth in a dental arrangement.

Wild, native, grassland habitat

  • Guinea pig are a crepuscular which is they active during dusk and dawn and they spend most of their time grooming, feeding or investigating their local environment.
