Size: Axis deer are a smaller to medium-size deer. The males can stand approximately 86cm tall at the shoulder and weigh approximately 90 kg. Meanwhile for female, they are considerably smaller and weigh approximately 45kg.
Average Lifespan: 5-10 years in the wild, up to 22 years in captivity.

The female do not have the antlers meanwhile male have the antlers.
