Physical Description
These turtles have black and yellow stripes on their neck.
They have greyish green carapace and their plastrons are in cream with black spot.
They have longer claws compared to other native turtles and webbing feet.
The females are larger than the males.
Habitat
Shallow and slow-motion waters, soft muddy or clay bottoms, swamps and rivers
