Physical Description
These caimans have a body that is reddish-brown with a back almost black.
While the tail has bands that reach up to the tip, there are spots on both jaws.
The majority of these caimans have brown eyes, but some people have brown-golden eyes.
Males have an average length of 140cm, and females have an average length of 120cm
Habitat
Freshwater habitat such as forested riverine habitats and areas of flooded forest around lakes.
